We in the custom map community are grateful for the recent addition of the dropzone that’s been added to staging, providing the ability for chinook and heli to visit our custom monuments.
However, we also humbly request a prefab added to the SDK to allow us to add custom monument names that will show up on the in game map.
Given we’re 2 years into custom map making it does feel a little overdue :)

I Agree this would be a very welcome, very important and long awaited feature that has to be added, hopefully sooner ruther later and I am saying this as a Rust Server Owner and a RustEdit Pro content maker, a unity Devloper and most importently a Rust Player. also as a suggestion if rust wants to make it so people know its not an offical monument they only need to use a different style i.e font, colour or font format.
also as a further note: I think it would be great if servers can host modded custom maps with/without custom monuments, without beeing labled as modded. even if that meens maps have to verified that they meet standards somehow.

As a custom map maker in the Rust Community, the ability to custom name monuments and prefabs to SDK would be greatly appreicated among the community and myself.
Hopefully this becomes a reality, it will make mapping more accessiable and have variation, being unamed compared to custom names is massive. In player base and them decidingn where to build, and if to say on server, as in “ No Tunnels?! - I’m Leaving!”
please make your own map maker app because the one we have now is a self dev & there discord admins abuse so please make a official rust map making app
