add single mode#18144

I can’t play the game every day because of DDoS attacks. Even today, I couldn’t play the game for 20 minutes because of the DDoS hackers.

Separate single games and online games like GTA5

Some users want to play alone in single mode. Do you know why there is a PVE server?
It’s because you can build buildings, farm, and play fun modes without being disturbed.
But now Rust can’t do it because of the DDoS hackers.

Please, add single mode

Its super easy to manage your own server. If you can run a command you can run your own server. https://www.rustafied.com/how-to-host-your-own-rust-server I know the site says 7GB of ram. But with Rust and the server you will want at least 24GB of ram. I know this because I tried it with 16GB and it ran like garbage until I noticed nearly 100% of it was being used and upgraded to 32. (I know people will say “unused ram is wasted ram”. But you do NOT want to hit your paging file. It is super slow memory that comes from your hard drive that you want to avoid at all costs.)

In the options lower the max player count to something really low like 5 or lower. This will help keep others from wanting to join.

@Zaconil Why host a server when you can just play singleplayer. I mean ARK does it just fine, so why can’t rust?
