How many more years until fix?#23433

Just got shot by guy with a bolty and his buddies. He was on the top of large oil.
Only thing is I was on the seabed in diving gear quite a ways out searching for a crate.

Nevermind the cheater(s) why can players and the patrol heli still shoot all the way down though 30+ meters of water??? This should have been fixed the second wipe after you added diving gear. How many years ago was that.

50 cal cant even go through water unless its a perfect angle.

^Actually, irl at least, smaller caliber ammo are able to travel further, faster and without being destroyed in water. While larger caliber ammo gets destroyed and stopped almost immediatly. The faster you hit water the more like concrete it acts. MythBusters did an episode on it. Iirc they did get them to travel further but it basically had to be underwater.

Sbuss, agreed on the amount of atrocious “meh”-inducing bugs and potential exploit loopholes in the game. How about fixing those before introducing a bunch of new trinkets?

I was thinking of that as i made this comment. The angle changes a lot though from other experiments. straight down is best i believe.
