Epic end when sever wipe happens 2#2792

End the map wipe by have a HUGE force of NPC’s (Cobolt work force) coming to invade the island due to the fact they see all players as a threat, and this should happen like in the last 20 mins of wipe, Multiple helis everywhere (max 3), transport helicopters dropping heavy suited NPC’s in some momnuments mainly millatery tunnels, lauch site, air field.

I was thinking something sort of like this, like maybe an escape helicopter comes where only like 10 people can get on. This would make people want to come in the end of the wipe to play as it would make wipes more fun, and give an ending. A huge attack on the island would also be fun (Maybe attack waves?) I do feel that there should be some sort of a conclusion to a wipe though.

I would love to see thwy in game. But that would create a ton of server lag especially for lower ejd pcs like mine. Maybe they could simply gas the entire islandwith knockout stuff. It would make sense with the current lore and be somewhat epic for new people.

It’s a fun idea, like that nuke that had been planned a LOOOONG time ago, but I dunno how well it would fit into the game. Maybe just, ending wipes would be a better idea?

I think a nuke like thing would be cool. This could tie into the lore of like the scientists calling the island a failure and the “wipe” could be like a restart of some kind with Rust’s updates being a way for cobalt to make the island good again.

if anything, just radiate the whole island. something is better than nothing.

That would lag alot of people with lower end pc’s like mine. What if there was a goal to reach other than just full metal+AK. Something like a Holy Grail kind of weapon the biggest and most advanced players could get and use to end the current wipe that only unlocks after a set amount of time. They maybe could set the next map monuments or use a bunch of components to increase the chance to get a certain monument. They want military tunnels next wipe? 200 tech trash 300 HQM etc.

Make it so that the team/clan/players that spent more time inside the Silo at the last day gains some loot, like crates to get skins.

With the new ferry terminal, the surviving players would board and leave before the island is nuked.

But what if everyone buys a attack heli and drives the attack off?

I have an idea. Some time before the wipe, a crowd of military cobalts arrives, who may have grenades with them; when they are used, they cause red smoke (something like a supply drop, but only red) and a fighter flies over the same smoke and drops bombs. So that’s the idea, these military cobalt throw these grenades on other people’s houses and blow them up, but players can kill this NPC and get this grenade and use it for their own purposes.
