At Bandit they could have a “gumball machine” which costs like 250 scrap, and it gives you a totally random blueprint.
Could be a bear rug, could be a revolver, could be auto turret, but it’s totally random so could be something you already know too.
Would have to cost enough scrap to stop people farming it, but not too much that it’s not worth playing at all.

that feature is already available at workbenches and its called eperimentation!
