Sam Sites are meant to be defensive, not offensive, so there’s no reason for them to pop-in faster than you can react. It’s especially a problem for hot air balloons, given how sluggish they are to turn away and how at even the furthest range dodging isn’t an option.
Additionally, a sam site detection range decrease for hot air balloons would be nice. With how slow they move, trying to land one by a sam site is a death sentence either way. Might as well make it easier to pass by.
