Hardcore: Guns cannot be purchased from Outpost/Bandit#29147

To increase the value of guns as well as to keep them out of players hands for longer, all guns should be kept out of vendors at Outpost and Bandit Camp, if those zones must be included. Being able to just buy military grade weapons instead of finding them is one of the worst offenses the game devs ever made and should be corrected.

I honestly feel like the concept of shops don’t fit the theme of rust in general. The idea of a survival game is work with the resources you have, not to buy them from a marketplace.

I agree in full. Being able to purchase what you need from NPC marketplaces in a survival game (resources, guns, etc) shows how the devs lost touch long ago with Rust’s basic concept by adding more and more toddler concessions into the game. Conditioning players into depending on NPC marketplace entities instead of social interaction, helps kill the interactive immersion between the players, which is the lifeblood of this game.

Delete Outpost, Bandit Camp and Fishing Villages, outright. They just take up space that actual PvP monuments could spawn in.
