Re-enable exclusive-fullscreen#31723

Since you removed exclusive mode, a huge percentage of the player base can’t play stretched anymore, and for some people they are going to get black bars, because their monitor is in another resolution at default.

Personally I need my games to be stretched cause I’m nearsighted as hell. So please, let us choose how we want to play the game, since everyone has the same possibilities.

The release notes say to contact facepunch support for assistance if it is a major problem. A recent reddit post said a new launch option was added to counter the removal of exclusive fullscreen as an in-game setting. They removed it because of a FPS big performance hit with the unity update.

You’re stupid bro, that is not a viable solution for anyone, and if you would read my suggestion. Some people can’t just change their monitor resolution, because they don’t support the default res.
