Modern drones are capable or returning to their take-off location, or a set location; even when connection with the remote control is lost.

They will fly to a high distance, and orient back towards home, and then slowly fly down.

Allow us to set a home location so if we lose connection with the drone, for whatever reason, it will return to home.

Other features could be obiting a set point, or following a player.

Modern drones are capable of these things and It may be fun to implement.

I think at a bare minimum they should sit where they are for a few minutes and then return home. Sometimes dumb things happen like you disconnect or accidentally hit the spacebar

It could be an attachment that is expensive but useful.
