Give the small battery a use#32279

Add a battery recharger and the small battery as a BP so we can input them into certain objects. some require more. Such as Battery turrets / battery operated wall lights and more. The more powerful the item the more batteries required. Ex. Auto turret 4 full batteries to operate

for clarification its the item. not the deployable

IMO would be nice if that battery would be required to craft codelock instead of metal fragments, so it could offset easier progression for groups requiring them to trade some components and resources with solos in exchange for the battery.

It may also affect how bases are being built by clans that may focus more on traps and compound rather than number of doors since batteries would be in short supply after wipe, no matter how much BPs have been unlocked by the group. First group’s race would probably be to get 2-3 batteries, not 2-3 weapons. Shops selling blueprints/items to learn in exchange for batteries would be a common thing, putting additional offset for groups that would want to secure their base.

Possibly it would also make it harder to split loot for them, unless they use locks, but that comes at the risk of not being able to use needed loot when the need arise along with the risk of having crafted keys that can be stolen if raiders raid code locked doors first (that could be also used against them as a dummy). That would also means it would be more profitable to raid group bases at the start of the wipe as they won’t have as much properly secured doors as solos would.

To make rushing high level monuments less attractive, perhaps batteries could drop only from roads piles requiring group to take bigger risk by being in move in more crowded areas more than they are now.

Also, it would be a good opportunity to change item name to PP3 battery and its icon changed accordingly in order for it to be more distinguishable from small rechargeable battery used as deployable.

@Jean Mahmoud Ventilateur people can talk about all the ideas they have. How about you stop whining.

Bro, imagine having to use components for code locks, there is no whining when their idea is about making the game annoying to play

Imaging having to play a full game instead of taking over single area with higher numbers.

For example by also adding missions in safezones with battery as a reward, it would make it an easy way to obtain battery in small quantities, although a bit longer than it is currently possible with metal frags, but simultaneously force clans to travel through map instead of taking over single monument, say oil rig, to skip to T2/T3 and built big base right away or alternatively put a stress on making a bit more expensive starter bases with a few entrances instead of just one, so it would be possible to use key locks (1 per teammate) and codelocks on the most interior doors to save on this component.

Seems to me like balancing issue; if done right it could be simple way to offset easier progression for bigger groups without making game super annoying or impossible to play as they are couple ways around that limitation at the beginning of the wipe and later on economy will take over, so solos and smaller groups would sell that item to bigger groups or zerg’s members could just repeat missions after some time… And of course with bigger teams it will just take a few members to actually finish quests to get required amount of batteries (at least for stater bases).

Also this was just one-two possible suggestion(s) as to how this component could be used in the game… Hopefully others can improve it later on…

You’re literally saying being able to place doors as a 2+ group should be a reward bro lmfao
Early game you have to have a basebitch or be a solo otherwise you can’t play, gg man

I’m literally saying something else.
