Drones Should not be able to fly for ever! they should need recharge!
I agree, but implementing batteries for other items like electronic portables and night vision might be a good idea too. Batteries in itself would be a cool item to add.
Damn, that was fast. I mean after a day, mark as planned ? just wow… :D
Do think if battery’s are required then it should get a hp buff and not get knocked over by hitting something slightly
Would be nice to have a way to extend range a bit. Maybe if a player had a 1x1 with an antenna inside between the players location, and the intended destination, the range could be extended.
Sick can’t wait for drones to be completely useless. They better automatically charge because if I have to climb all the way up to my drone garages and repair them every single time I use them, they are just going to collect dust.
At least make it 15-30 min per fly to be more realistic and not be expensive already one drone is expensive for cctv it need and they can easily take down very fast .
Bro the drones are never used, why nerf them even more
for clans they are really usefull someone can ping all the enemy locations and the team will kill them they just need more distance i think a lot more
@Lama Love Consider making a balanced change. This would suggest by modifying functionality or values in one place, you could consider offsetting some of that with a corresponding reasonable buff. Having used the drones before, I feel as if in their present iteration, they are solely for base defense. However, I think players would find the process and difficulty of acquiring a drone and piloting it to observe the world rewarding. Consider expanding the pilotable range of the drone to expand its role beyond base defense to encourage world exploration.
NO.
Nobody even uses the drones - why nerf them?
@TurkeyMaze
This thread predates drones being in the game by like a week. Nobody uses them because a majority of Rust clans don’t need recon when they use ESP hacks. For solos and small groups having a literal watch tower above a site is amazing, where as a large group would simply cover every angle possible. The larger a group is generally the more likely there is a hacker in it as a rule of thumb.
