FIX YA OCEANS PLS#34983

If my 125 scrap boat goes through one more wave, does a kickflip, the game then refuses to register I left the water (because somehow the boat because a submarine and launched itself into the sky shortly after) and ends up thinking I drowed whilst I’m literally in the air I’m going to scream!

Also, the WAVES going OVER the rig landing spots? Like I just got darted up the ladder of large whilst in my boat, i left my boat and it then got sucked into the depths by the krakens and I lost i UNDER RIG?! Come on, idk what happened to the oceans recently but its a shtshow my guys.

also the lag stutter and optimisations somehow got worse recently, the amount of “FIX FPS RUST” videos popping up the last 1-2 months has been NUTS

I feel like the waves need to be toned down a little bit while it is raining.
The waves are really cool, but are waaay too disruptive to normal gameplay.

Realism does not equal fun.

@aor it’s not even realistic, water splashes around structures and obstacles, waves don’t go through them and continue their route afterwards lol

try fishing in the ocean on a boat. it’s more miserable than fishing in a safe zone with people trying to push you into the water.
they really didn’t think this whole update through.
