New Workbench Tax Upcoming (My solutions.)#36584

The tax should work in a way that you can unlock anything, but then you have to pay a tax of 10-150%-?%. For example, you set your goal to only get the AK!

So far we have:
Lv1 50 Scrap
Lv2 500 Scrap
Lv3 1250 Scrap
(That’s already 1800 Scrap.)
While unlocking, you got an additional 2500 Scrap, so: 4300.

(By default, you just go and play the game, and the gameplay is designed so that you can find AK, oil rig, locked crate, airdrop, etc… So you can quickly get 1800 + 500 Scrap in return.)

So what I would see as good is that we would still craft the LV3 for 1800, but you could immediately unlock the AK not for 2500 Scrap but for, let’s say, 2000 Scrap with tax included. You saved 500 Scrap, but you won’t have those items that you would unlock along the way.

2000 Scrap is just an example; we need to find a middle ground, which could be, for instance, 1400 Scrap.

In summary, there would be three methods:

When you just happen to find an AK and want to craft it yourself: 1800 + 500 Scrap

When you only want the AK: 1800 + 1400 Scrap

And when you go through the branches without tax, because we are honest and not bandits: 1800 + 2500 Scrap

good idea but you already know everyone is gonna have an ak a lot quicker than normal, whether or not this is ideal is up for debate

Please, to take my suggestion,
remove tax from workbench, but add to get workbench levels
for example
Level 1 from 50 to 100 scrap…
Level 2 from 500 to 600 scrap…
Level 3 from 1250 to 1500 scrap…
