Yes, it could be pretty loud as a balance, allowing near by players to know if your in your base, or making it harder for base owner to hear raid parties

Exactly. I wouldn’t mind it being expensive either, it just would be nice to have some electricity in a cave besides the spike trap cave.

I like the idea at first but I notice that this would be the only source of electricity you could hide inside. Even if you make it outdoor only, like a refinery, you could still protect it. I really want it to cost some serious fuel. (1000 per 24 hr?)

Even that much low grade i think would be top cheap. It shouldn’t be something you can run a whole day and only visit twice. It should be able to charge a battery though, and allow you to store up as much energy as you feel is neccesary.

I’d love a generator running on low grade, especially if it could be started automatically with electricity. It could serve as a reliable backup power source when your wind turbines and solar panels aren’t generating enough power and give cave dwellers a way to use electricity.

Agreed. The thing is they already have generators in game, they just need to tweak how much it costs. It seems super doable.

Thank you @Maurino Berry but please consider how this will affect the use of auto turrets when they one day will require electricity. People are divided on this as with everything but I’d like to see auto turrets being used less as portable safe zones and counter raid defense systems and more for base defense and in smaller quantities. If you can just bring some LGF and a generator then nothing will really change.

Generator’s shouldn’t use that much lowgrade either, but in turn not produce much power, while also producing noise.

Run on LGF and Electrical Fuses. Needs both to run - so 500 lgf for 24 hours of runtime & 6 fuse slots (each fuse lasting 1-2 hours)
