Upon the release of vehicles, a defense mechanism besides turrets will be needed. Why not implement the feature to use spikes to pop tires and land mines to either blow up vehicles or damage them greatly.

Nice maybe also metal spikes made from metal pipes and sharp T - bars, as well as other debris, made from scrap, HQM, frags and pipe. Also add just barbed wire made with HQM only, it is even more effective but easier to destroy by hand. This is the alternative for always-on clans when there is little time to chop at it anyway during an online raid.

Finally make mines throw light cars up in the air, doimg little damage, and damaging heavy cars significantly.
