Supporting alliance with other players/clans with icons#7154

As we know and love the feature of clan/team which are significantly recognised with the green circle above the players. Maybe an implementation of alliance feature which could be implemented with a blue circle above the players can show current players and all of the clan members of a friendly player. I believe this feature would make game be better as alliance can mean more friendly behaviour and game flow to be better than normal. This feature can only make players see the player with blue circle above when nearby and not on the map. This feature can be limited to 6-8 friendly alliance at a time and any players can be removed whenever. If there are problems with this please let me know?

This has been suggested a few times now and I agree it’d be very nice to have an “allied system” next to the team system, but I’m not sure how they’d do that without it being exploited to increase team size. You see a blue circle and you know it’s one of your team members. How would you prevent that?

G regarding this matter with this feature or not you will get players teaming above the recommended group size. Time and again there is nothing anyone can do about it , players who currently want to exceed the team size would either wear same gear type to show friendly, this may or not include same skins for weopen and outfit, players who have communication with all member above size would agree to take a type of clothing away, this may be taking off shirt or trousers and all of the members will have to do this to prevent friendly fire , before you know it, you already lost the raid or pvp. How this can be prevented is to force 8 man only and players that are found of exceeding the size should be temp banned from server or a penalty should be given. This can be a pov recording of the victim

This feature is for long lerm protecting good friendly niebours, it would be so easy to Counter niebours online raid, this would also enforce a better toxic free gameplay. Reason. For not be able to see on the map is if the player feeding information to other players to attack us on the roam or prevent seeing where other bases are. We would only see them close by to not friendly fire.

I see what you’re saying and of course more than 8 people can team up, they just have to do it the old way by using matching uniforms. An allied system would make larger teams easier to manage though, but maybe that’s the tradeoff we have to accept in order to get an allied system. It’s such a pain in the ass running back to your neighbour to return his shit and appologise for killing him for the 5th time because you’ve no idea who he is until it’s too late. I want to be allies but I don’t want to team, allowing him to see where I am at all times. Rust is not really a place you want to trust people too much.
