Blowdart and Status Effects#7966

Give naked people a chance….
Nowadays it’s easy to see some folks get modern weaponry in the first day after a wipe and raiding in the second… This makes for a hard start for naked scrubs joining three days later… or just newbs…

My proposal is to intruduce a new weapon (a blowdart) or adding status effects ammo to an existing one, witch somehow slow down a more powerfully geared fellow, either by breaking balance, turving his vision or a general slow…

This I expect would work as a catch up mechanic…

I don’t think another primitive weapon for nakeds will do anything to close the gap for them. Anything you can use naked can be used by anyone.

The best hope for nakeds would be more spawn points. When everyone goes to the same beach it just gets camped and griefer clans build bases right on the beach. It doesn’t take much to find clothes and throw up a shack against bullets, other than practice and a chance to farm a couple trees and stone nodes.
